What I use to capture footage: AS OF MAY 2014: 1. Cable Box (Any kind with outputs will work, however you cannot capture TV WITHOUT a cable box) 2. Elgato Game Capture HD (Used to capture footage) 3.Game Capture HD Program (This is the program used to capture footage, but any other capturing software may work). ELGATO IS THE COMPANY NAME. GAME CAPTURE HD IS THE SOFTWARE USED TO CAPTURE. 4. Sony Vegas Pro 13 (Used to edit out any scrap/unneeded footage and render the final product)
