Reviewing Nothing's CMF Phone 1, the best budget smartphone so far in 2024, with an unboxing and test of the cover accessories. I've been testing the CMF Phone 1 by Nothing for almost a week so here's my full thoughts on the camera tech, gaming performance, battery life and other bits. Here in the UK, this affordable mobile is priced at just over £200 (although the cases and extras come at an extra cost). You can customise the cover like old Lumia phones, but this isn't just a one-trick gimmick device. The CMF Phone 1 by Nothing is one of my favourite budget smartphones of 2024, helped along by the impressive Dimensity power which can handle Genshin Impact and other games. Battery life is dependable and that camera setup can capture good looking family pics at pretty much any time of day. You can also shoot respectable 4K video on the Nothing CMF Phone 1, for those home movie moments. Nothing OS is as enjoyable and distinctively designed as ever. However, this smartphone does trim a few key features to hit that budget price. One of the biggest casualties is the NFC, so no contactless payments!
