Before we start. Yes, I know its stupid to compare lap time from a racing sim and real life! But as is often the case, stupid is fun! The Laguna Seca track record is held (unofficially) by Marc Gene in a 2003 Ferrari. We try to find out if you can go faster in Assetto Corsa using the Ferrari F2004 and SF70H. The Laguna Seca track record (1:05.786) was set on a demonstration run in 2012, using the Ferrari F2003. As the F2004 and SF70H are faster cars, beating that time in Assetto Corsa should be possible.
