PAWA - Sweet Delicacy of Piat, Cagayan Isa sa mga sikat na kakanin at pasalubong ng mga Cagayanos ay ang PAWA. Naalala ko tuwing kami noon ay bumibisita kay Our Lady of Piat hindi pwedeng hindi kami bibili ng Pawa. Makikita mo ito sa lahat ng paligid ng church. Gawa ito sa Glutinous Rice Flour with sweetend ground peanut filling. Sinasabi ng mga taga Piat Cagayan na ang panghimagas na ito ay pamana pala ng mga Tsino. Madali lang ito gawin.. Tara na at gawa tayo! :) Ingredients: Glutinous Rice Flour - 1 kg Banana leaves - 2 pcs. (cut about 30 pcs. circle) Muscovado powder - 1 packed (250g) Peanuts - 1 cup (toasted) Oil - 5-6 tbsp.
